There are three types of ticket; standard, priority and dining, priced at £150, £170, and £190 respectively.

Standard tickets allow you to enjoy the ball from 8pm, while priority tickets give you the chance to skip the queue and enjoy a champagne reception, and entrance to the ball before everyone else. If you are looking for a VIP experience, our luxury dining package includes a champagne reception and a grand three-course meal in hall.

Jimmy's Cambridge

Jimmy's Cambridge has been providing help for the homeless in Cambridge for over 20 years. It works to deliver 24/7 emergency accommodation and supported housing for those who would otherwise be homeless or vulnerably housed. Services at emergency accommodation includes resettlement support, daytime activities and a controlled drinking project.

£1.70 provides an evening meal in emergency accommodation. £5 enables guests to reconnect with family and friends. £10 provides a rough sleepers pack - sleeping bag, roll mat and flask.

Cool Earth

Cool Earth is a non-profit organisation that works alongside rainforest communities to halt deforestation and climate change. It ensures that communities earn more from keeping the forest standing than they would otherwise from clearing it, from sources such as cacao, coffee and coconut oil. Partnerships become self-sufficient, so that commmunities are not dependent on funding from Cool Earth. By supporting this charity, Jesus May Ball aims to offset some of its carbon emissions.

£5 allows one tree to be planted.

Student Minds

Student Minds is a major UK student mental health charity, which empowers members of university communities to look after their own mental health, support others and create change. Students and staff across the UK are trained to deliver student-led peer support interventions, as well as research-driven workshops and campaigns. Their aim is to transform the state of student mental health, so that all in higher education can thrive.

Cambridge Women's Aid

Cambridge Women's Aid provides specialist services to women and children affected by domestic abuse. Information, advice and support groups are available, as are safe refuges for those who must flee their homes. The charity also supplies household essentials, clothing, appliances and furniture to help women set up new homes with little money at their disposal. This year, Jesus May Ball donated a beanbag used in the Chapel in 2017 to Cambridge Women's Aid, so that it can be used in one of these safe refuges or new homes.

Campus

Campus is an entirely volunteer-run charity committed to providing annual respite breaks for disadvantaged children. Having run summer projects every year since 1967, Campus works with some of the most vulnerable children in the Liverpool-Merseyside area: children in care, some who have been abused, young carers, and children living in poverty or violent neighbourhoods. These children are referred to Campus by parents, social workers and other organisations because they desperately need a break from their home lives. For some, it is the one chance they get each year to be a child.

£10 pays for a day of activities for a child on a residential project.

COCO

COCO provides education to children in poor and marginalised communities in East Africa to break the cycle of poverty. They collaborate with local partners to implement sustainaible and innovative projects, which are specific to the needs of each community. Education provided is of high quality, incorporating both national curriculum and important life skills.

£1 provides a mango tree to provide income for Schools for Life. £20 could provide a small loan for a year, enabling parents to send their children to school.

AMAR Foundation

AMAR Foundation delivers emergency aid, healthcare and education to populations suffering from human-caused and natural humanitarian disasters. Current work focuses in the Middle East, where the lives of millions of people have been left in ruin after civil conflict and the prominence of ISIS.

It costs under £1 to provide an essential medical consultation to someone who has had little-to-no healthcare.
